Willie, why should anyone eat a piece of text and vomit it here (which is always a selection), when everyone can use google, as Vinaire said. That's the most authentic way to read for yourself. Judging the material is another question. It takes sometimes a lot of experience for some to see through anyones promotional activity or caresales factor, to use your definition. Svadhyaya or selfstudy/study of the self has a partner called Tapas or heat/perseverance of searching, which gets results with the third partner called Pranidhana or opening up to the fruits of the Tapas caused by Svadhyaya. This is the critical Kriya Action Path to search, look, experience and understand. (of course I refer to practical philosophies or ways of living and their propagators.
