Finally I have access to Hundunet.

Dear Vinaire,

It is an interesting piece indeed. Especially this part:

By definition, anything created or determined is an effect. A cause is not the effect. Therefore, by definition, cause is not something created or determined. Cause is "what determines" and it may determine without any prior consideration.

What Aristotle considers to be "cause" is not really the cause. If a logical sequence exists then it is something created. All its elements are, therefore, created and are, by definition, effect. None of them is cause in the truest sense.

I think by cause you mean primary cause. Primary cause gives an effect and may be a cause of another effect, etc. (Hegelian dialectics)

To put this in Brahman-Atman concept:
Brahman is the primary cause of Purusha-Prakriti, the relative effect. To have effect it must be contained by the cause. That is what I mean by 'you can't create something (effect) out of nothing". You allways have to have the cause of an effect to be contained in the cause from where it can move to become manifested=created.

When it is contained in the cause, it must be non-conflicting, for conflicts give effect, it means that harmony is disturbed and seeks for a new harmony.
Now Advaita means literally "dvaita that is a=not the same). The same negative meaning is in the word "a-samprajnta" of the samdhi. So the Dvaita in the Advaita Brahman is in 'rest'. It is like the Great Tao containing a harmonious Yin-Yang. When being manifested it becomes the Little Tao for the nirvrtti or returning cycle. The pravrtti or developping cycle is the path of Chih, or the Mya or creative force of moulding primary Prna in primary Aksha (space) and giving Dish (direction) and Kla (time).

Brahman with a harmonious, passive Purusha-Prakrti as primary cause has an active Purusha and Prakrti as effects. When Purusha is involved with and focused in Prakrti then you get Mahat or Manifestation (Vyakta-t. But if Purusha is aware of the manifestations as My and seeks for harmony with Prakrti, Purusha will be again Atman attracted towards Brahman.

Everytime it's a matter of focus and direction.
