There's one point that might give another picture, if it is right: Krshna died I believe on the first day of KaliYuga. But Parikshit P�ndava the grandson of Arjuna heard the Bhagavatam 1000 years before KaliYuga. Now here's a contradiction or Krshna V�sudeva who died in KaliYuga was different from the Krshna of Arjuna's time. The P�ndava who lived till KaliYuga was their last king Kshemaka, who was killed by a (grand)son of a certain Jar�sandha of the Kuru-Barhadratha dynasty. The son of Jar�sandha is Sahadeva, and his grandson is Som�pi. Was Subhadr� married to Kshemaka last of Arjunas family 1000 years later? This seems outrageous. Who was then the Krshna of 1000 years earlier? I have no answer to these questions. It would be easier to stick to the cousin-marriage.
