Karma(n) is from the root kr=create. You can't create what isn't there, so creating is moulding something that was already present but in another elementary r�pa.
Karman depends upon the dharman or fundaments of the
first three manifestations in Prakriti. So Karman becomes vyakta through space, direction and time. It means that Karman is just a relative movement in the manifest: "horizontally" (Life experiences) in any way and "vertically" (birth-death or moksha) either way. It is cyclical when sams�rika, anti-cyclical when mumukshutva is involved. It is relatively incomplete or rather repetitive when cyclical.
