	I've finally found my note, Raj. The Vedic references are in: David Frawley Gods, sages and Kings; Vedic Secrets of ancient Civilization 1993, Delhi. Motilal Banarsidass Subhash Kak has given more information in his article ' the Astronomical Code of the RigVeda', and also in the book "In Search of the Cradle of Civilization" by Georg Feuesrstein, Subhash Kak, & David Frawley.
