In reply to:

In his autobiography Bachitra Natak, Shri Guru Govind Singh Dev has claimed that he was a descendant of Lord Rama's younger son Lava, and that Guru Nanak Dev was a descendant of Lord Rama's elder son Kusha (2/18-34, 2/52,
4/1-10 and 5/1-10). This statement is confirmed in several other authentic source-books of Sikhism.

Reading about Lava, Vishal, my mind went in the direction of the Mohyals. One NW section of them is the Lau/Lava, claiming to be descendants of Rama's son. (though mainly they are thought to be derived from Vasishtha, the Guru of Lava's father Rama).

Bhai Paramananda Avadhuta was also a Mohyal, according to their community. Some Mohyal sections used the word 'Bhai" (was Lachhman Deva a.k.a. MadhoDasa Bairagi a.k.a Banda "Singh" Bahadur also one?).
