Again a person that can't read. Where did I generalize? I rather talked about specific sects. And were did I say that all Christians are responsible for that? Please try to read better. And why should I experience trouble? Is this a sick joke? You obviously have amnaesia in relation to some facts. Not only the Taliban and Al-Qaeda have committed serious crimes, many Islamic governments have on that, especially in India. The same was done by the Christian colonist countries with their hosts of missionaries. You're very naive to think that people converted just can go back. Read your history again books, man. After how many years and generations were people Christianized? And when did they become independant? The colonists weren't that tolearnt as you might think, nor the missionaries working with the colonists. Who says they did that out of happiness? I think you missed your history classes. The Americas are full of missionary and military atrocities commited on the natives: Aztecan and Incan civilizations were destroyed, not only buildings, but also almost all of their scriptures. Tribes were humbled and presented the Bible. No European colonist country was without missionaries, whether protestant or catholic! (There is a lot of data available on missionary atrocities on internet) The colonial powers are besides Spain and Portugal, also Britain and France, but also Holland and Germany (protestant and catholic countries). Though in their home affairs church and state were separated, they worked closely together in the colonies. The colonist were staunch and zealous Christians! What they couldn't destroy with weapons, they destroyed with diseases (influenza, sexual), looted their economy and pride and they rebuilt the countries with (vulnerable and destructive) monocultures and new moral Christian codes as second or third class citizens, just a little below the female status, but just above the slave status. (Many international slave trades initiated in this period) Baptists working with German Lutherans were very active in Africa. Former slaves were sent as missionaries from America and Europe to Africa, like in Sierra Leones Freetown. Portuguese missionaries were really atrocious in Goa, Brazil, Brazzaville-Kongo, Mozambique, Angola. Belgian missionaries were destructively active in Kongo, Germans in Sout-West Africa, English missionaries in their colonies, etc. Then there's the 'gift' of Christianity: antisemitism, started with their religion (with Paul and his school), not subdued by the church fathers, leading to many persecutions and eventually working together with fascism to glorify the racial theory, which I believe to be an European creation of the 18th/19th century, still not cleared from the damaged colonial minds and from their educational and cultural systems. Some European Christian countries were excelling in religious wars against paganism, then Islam in crusades, then amongst themselves in inquisitions and also in colonies. The tolerance rate was very low, not only between Christians but also towards non-Christians. No wonder that many people have turned their back to church and Christianity in western countries, and have adopted newer ways in their search to balance. Muslims take much time and have yet to silence the violence within their own circles to facilitate the search. Hindus have troubles to get the time and space of agressive systems to balance theirs.
