In reply to:

Islam is like other religions that have a certain group of leaders leading the majority of the people. Adn is seems to me that one thing islam doesn't like at all is competition from another group with another belief. Mostly the areas of Islamic influence have very small pockets of people of other religions. Sort of token groups, a talking point of how they are tolerant, but only when these other groups are small and under control.

This is more the way Willie thinks. And what about this:

In reply to:

I do not think that hinduism will break out in a big way in the US. Mostly the ideas it has contributed have been absorbed and the rest will be castoff as a backward movment of religious though.

Willie is really an expert on Hinduism, but he doesn't know the ancients or the ancient books. He doesn't know the language. He's begging for new books and saints. But what is his possible motive? Hinduism is deeply rooted with many traditions. Willie would like to see that this would be replaced with something totally new (which means totally non-Hindu?).

If he brands off Hinduism as a 'backward' movement, which movement is 'progressive' in his eyes? His 'tolerant-towards-the-minorities-Islam" may be, of which Willie wonders what was 'revelation' or 'political'? What difference does it make, the overall nature is very 'bloody' in appearance, already within the first decades of its existence.

Willie doesn't see the purpose of ancient books and saints, nut now he doesn't see the purpose of writing too, because the posts are not that much? Very strange guy. Maybe he's longing for attention?
