It would be interesting to interview SOV after a long stay in a Muslim country. Another thing People in Europe and America understand the danger of militancy. They also know that Al-Qaeda is contacting and recruiting people not only from non-western countries but especially from western countries to infiltrate in non-Muslim countries, especially India. As the case of two Morrocans from Holland who were shot dead, or the two Morrocans from Belgium, I believe, who killed Masood of the Northern Alliance, just before the 11th september. Many people, especially from Muslim countries who don't succeed economically in the west are so frustrated, that they are easy targets of Al-Qaeda. Their network is really worldwide, and run with money from smuggling weapons etc,(child)pornography, collecting from western masjids and enterprises, etc. and whitewashed with regular activities and in regular banks under false holdings etc. So the greatest dangers come from a westernised, educated militancy, assisted by an international body of specialists using the local religious drugged common people as a war tank against everything they're opposed to. But I wonder whether SOV is aware of this.
