There are three ways of confronting injustice: 1. denial 2. retalliation: stressing and working with negative energy. Accusing and reacting to that. This will cause only more negativeness. 3. participation: stressing and working with positive energy. Asking for a dialogue and let people imagine a change of rolemodels: give the ones who support injustice the role of victims and how they would react. Anytime moderate people are staying moderate that's a great victory. Dialogues with this group is utmostly needed. That is the first defensive act. The second is to isolate the agressors in public opinion. Not only by the non-sympathisizing ones, but by their own partly sympathisizing moderates. (The offensive job against militants must be done of course by the army.) So this is basically what can be done at least.
