That's right, SOV. May I put it in these words:

People should understand that there's a difference in any religion between (personal) worship and (social) rules.
Any ritualism is only meant as a preparational tool to be one with God (within you). That tool can be very simple or very complicated, up to the need of the worshipper.
The moment the ritual worship becomes social orientated, it gets more power and regulation. That can be very beneficial, but may also be harmful for individuality (meaning being non-divided, namely between personal and social needs). Especially when the social orientation becomes organised, the individuality should somehow be respected when adapting to groupregulations.
Within the total setting of the personal and social worship are included women and men, young and old, poor and rich, sick and healthy, sick and sane, smart and dumb, etc. at ANY TIME: whether someone has periods or not, whether one is sick or not, whether one is pregnant or not, etc. Worship encourages and strengthens the sacred bond between the worshipper(s) and Divinity, and that should never be limited, discouraged or prevented.
