Re: Buddha is an Avthaar of Lord Vishnu PROVED???? [Re: GuruDas]

Namaskaara, GuruDas. I'll try to answer the questions, according to my knowledge:

1. Buddha didn't oppose the Vedas. Actually Buddism is more related to the Vedic religion than some later Hindu sects. And not only in time. Buddhism is called by Buddhism itself 'Arya Dharma'. Many monks applied to their names Arya in Sanskrit or Ayya in Prakrit, which is the word that Vedic people also used to denote that they were following the Vaidika Dharma.
Bauddha Dharma is actually very close to the philosophy of the Upanishads and the Darshana Stras. Their Nirvna is synonymous to Kaivalya or Nirguna Brahman. Concentrating on Samsra or life-cycli their approach is in KarmaYoga (Vipassana technique) or Jnna Yoga (Zen).

2. Tibet was never islotated from India. Tibet was the gateway to China for Hinduism. Tibet owes much to India: medicines, philosophy, astronomy, etc. The Tibetan Book of Death is written by Padmasambhava from India. Many monks from Tibet came to India to study in Nalanda and other universities. Indian monks went also to Tibet to teach.

Buddhism was never challenging Vedism, but was restoring Vedic values, against deteriorating Vedic values, completely inline with the Late-Vedic scriptures.
