Hahah, poor Willie. Don't you understand that it doesn't matter whether something is old or new, whether it's a book, a spiritual person, etc. It's about YOU, who tries to learn something out of it or not. You're given the intellect to decide and the rest of a body to create or if you don't understand: to destroy (this last happens when one doesn't take any responsibility, and let others or groups decide). It's YOU who has this capacity, no one can do that for you. So if you learn something or not, no matter the age of the source, it's up to YOU, it's your decision (also when you let other ones or things/books, whether old or new, take the responsibility and command to run your life) !
