SOS, SOV, SOV, what is this? Who says that their practice is or isn't good for their souls. That's not the issue here and wasn't ever. It's about the practice which turned out to be harmful for souls who didn't believe in their system or the ones even within their system who wanted to change. (maybe you aren't aware of the scare of any Muslim threatened to death, because he/she wants either to change to another religion, or just have "heretical" ideas.)

Sanctifying the killing of innocent people (children and women, nowadays done by 'freedomfighters') by suicidal acts to enter heaven is nowhere openly and strongly condemned by the majority of the adherers of their system.

We are human beings equipped with brains and common sense. Why shouldn't we use that? Why shouldn't organised religions do that? There has to be a balance between group interdependancy and individual independancy in such a way that it is not harmful both for the whole familiar group and other non-familiar groups. In short: live and let live!

When can one look at similarities with love? When there are equal partners! But how can one work together with a hostile group within a different system of which the rest say nothing against that hostility? How can one work with that hostile group, not stopped by the majority within their group, who displays not only utter disgust, but takes even lethal action?

You'll never hear me say that there aren't good Muslims. The evil, agressive Muslims are relatively small in number, but have loud and explosive voices. There are also evil Hindus. But the point is that the Islam itself has a big problem to cope with: They have to modernise and tranquilize as a whole group to correct the evil groups. That group is bad public relations for the moderate Muslims. But the moderate Muslims in all the different communities aren't good in the right public relations too, for they don't condemn or correct neither openly nor actively those evil groups. Other religions have the ability to show selfcriticism, but Muslims have to deal with this, still.

The world is still far from the point that there's a balance. The noisy and explosive groups still have too much open and silent support.
