Hmm, SOV, it is not me who calls this philosophies, it's done by their own adherents. People living later in time make reconciliations as to fit different philosophies into a syncretized system. But M�dhva was strongly opposed to the Kevala-Advaita form and the Vishishta form was more in-between. That's the importance not only of historical data, but also of textual data. But of course it's okay to syncretize. Great sages like Vijn�nabhikshu have done that already a few centirues ago. You can see them as stages in that sense.
