Haha, Willie, you're comparing SOV with yourself: SOV is talking about his own thoughts, as the most of us are. But you aren't. You are only waiting for others to say something, then you reply with the opposite. That's very original.... But then, Willie, someone has to be the clown (in a positive sense), and you're doing well. As for SOV, because he's having some own thoughts, it's okay that it's a heavily biased one? Is it okay that he sees everything that is opposed to his view or revealing his coloured thinking, as of agression, militancy. Is generalizing, then zealous patronizing, but putting yourself in an underdog position when being caught by own dubious words, original thinking? If SOV would be more balanced in his description of both Hindus and Muslims, then that would've been a different picture. But he's assuming that the ones that criticize him, are supporters of violence, which is far from truth. The ones who criticize him, are concentrating on his non-neutral standpoints. He's persistently highlighting Hindu atrocities of militants, and talking to Hindus generally as if they are violent-minded and should be talked over. Now that's putting himself into a big brother position with patronizing remarks. It's his missionary task to be active in this way. The criticizing ones only put his remarks in perspective. The only thing SOV can do is proceed with accusing the criticizing ones, while putting them on the same level with militants: He says: "I merely imitate their words and actually put them into practice. Others also know these words as they are more well read than I am. They call themselves intellectuals but they do not practice anything written in our scriptures. They suffer from indigestion of this knowledge gathered and not put to use. Their minds have become perverted, they derive great pleasure in hurting other religions, they bring a bad name to Hinduism and Hindus. They will hurt all other religions to teh extreme but they cannot bear even an ounce of pain themselves. " When did anyone say about himself that he was an intellectual? But MrSOV said about himself that he has no ego, he's above all. How patronizing to think to know that the ones that criticize his biased views, that their minds are perverted, etc. This is what's going on, it has nothing to do with the violence discussion at all, which is by the most Hindus condemned on this forum. Of course there are a few hardline-thinkers, but then again. There might be a difference between their commenting on issues and putting that into practice. SOV connects people who talk about the issues (on the forum) with people who act within the issues (the militants involved with the agressive acts). Now that's is some generalazation! Most people are discussing issues critically of Hindu and non-Hindu philosophy, social rules, etc. A few are giving some onesided negative picture. It should be dealed with in the right context and discussed over, which is in most cases done too. But that causes much pain to SOV, as he doesn't like discussion. He wants to push his unbalanced one way 'love' message through the throat of everyone. The ones that don't want to digest, are severly condemned. This sounds to me more as a lack of confidence in others. He who lacks confidence in others, does lack confidence in himself. To be on topic: He wants to see only the Shiva part, but denies the Bhairava part of Rudra in (human) nature. Rudra is both, as his consort is P�rvatii and also K�lii in every person. But Rudra is more. To emphasize the Bhairava part of one group and denying their Shaiva part and vice versa with the other group is one thing. But grouping people with a Bhairava aspect together with the ones with a Viirabhadra aspect and seeing only the Antaka/K�la aspect in totality is something which aspirants do. They're just starting to understand what Rudra-Shiva is about. Not to mention his emphasizing the duality within, which doesn't harmonize, but creates more distance between divine and human nature and ends in dependancy.
