Very good, Vinaire and raghuvamshi, to start this thread. I'm also not politically engaged, so I don't know much about the factions, etc. But I do know how especially the communists in India, and some other groups, are always picking on any kind of Hindu activity. That's because especially communism is anti-religion in theory, biased where Hinduism is concerned, and thus cooperating with other religious groups. This is where especially Muslim groups and communists share a common battlefield. Not to mention superficial Hindus and 'Hindus".
