As there is diversity in creation, so there's diversity in addressing the One Source of that diversity. Whether one is one with the One or with the Manyfold, it's not important. Ultimately the goal is being the One. But to reach that oneness one should start to be one in the manyfoldness. Then the process starts from manyfoldness towards oneness. The process is important now, not the goal which is already known deep inside. Manyfoldness can have different means within its nature and restrictions to balance disbalances. These means have different explanations (for instance justice or injustice) and personifications (for instance avataras or asuras) when concentrating on appearances. But everything created has to be resolved to get a blank/clean (re)starting point.
