Errors contd.

1. Vedas were not accidently discovered. They were revealed by God to Surya (Sun God), who gave it to Ishvaku (Lord Rama was of his Lineage); Ishvaku gave it to Manu (First man) and Manu gave it to Mankind.

Correction: The Puranic sequence is different. It begins with a creator (Brahma or any), then Virat, then Vivasvant then Manu and than mankind (Ikshvaku may be the first as son of Manu).

2. Please read up on 8 sutra Patanjali Yoga.

Correction: You must be referring to Ashtnga Yoga of Patanjali. It is composed of Ashta and Anga.

3. Who composed the Vedas? Until today, it has not been possible to unveil their names. Those who recited it had perhaps no desire to earn renown, for the names are nowhere seen mentioned in the Veda.

Correction: The Vedas DO contain names, of sages with name and sometimes with personal names, like Vasishtha, named in his own Mandala. Besides Vedic tradition compiled special works (Anukramanis and BrhadDevata, etc) which contain the names of the Vedic seers per Skta!
I hope you have ever seen and read Samhits, especially the Rik, which has names of Rishis, Devata and Chhandas!

4. The sacred Veda instructs all that one requires for his spiritual advancement. It instructs one the means and methods to overcome all sorrows and grief. It instructs one in all the spiritual disciplines which can give unshaken peace. No one has understood correctly the beginning of the Veda or its end.

Correction: You are contradicting yourself. No one understood, but you still give the explanations? How come.
The Vedic language can be understood if one has at least a command of the Vedic language, of the Vedic symbolism, of the Vedic period, of the Vedic commentaries, etc.
We are understanding more and more about the Vedas, because we are making progression in science. The Vedas are multilayered and the codes are cracked slowly. For this you need the intellect.

5. It is not correct to claim that Bharath or India is the birthplace of the Vedas. The utmost that can be said is that they were discovered by the people of Bharath.

Correction: I've never heard such a strange contradicting view, which is anyway not believed even by the invasionists! The Vedas are a product of the Hindu mind IN India! No serious researcher contests this.

6. Viswamitra was a scientist who had recognised this truth. So, there is no scientist yet greater than he was. But, though a sage of such immense eminence and with so expansive a heart lived in India, he is not remembered by the people of this land.

Correction: About which Vishvamitra are you talking? There were many, and not all of them were equally proficient. One Vishvamitra killed Rishi Shakti. Or the Vishvamitra who tried to give Vasishta dogmeat? Or the Vishvamitra who tried to take Nandini by force?
Madhuchhandas Vaishvamitra was a great Vedic Rishi who composed for instance the first Rcha of the RigVeda: agnimile purohitam yajnasya devamrtvijam hotaram ratnadhatamam.
The Vishvamitra of the Gayatrii Rcha is also a great Rshi. That must have be done in the time that Vasishtha recognized him finally as a true Brahmarshi. (was he a kind of pupil of Vasishtha? At least Vasishtha was the one who inspired the Vaishvamitras to become Rshis instead of Rajans which the first Vishvamitra was originally known as king Vishvaratha Gathina)
Secondly, why Vishvamitra is the greatest? What about the Gautamas, Bharadvajas and Vamadevas (all Angirasa), the Grtsamadas (Kevala-Bhargava), the Vasishthas, the Agastyas, (both Vasishthas), the Kanvas (Angirasa and Vasishtha), the Kashyapas, Bharata RajaRshis, etc? At one place you say no names are remembered but then Vishvamitra is the greatest? Without Veda Vyasa's arrangement there wouldn't be probably a Vishvamitra to be immortalized.
There were many great Rshis whose works are forever lost to us, but of whom we have only references or mentioning of names.
