Hmm, a lot of opinions about homosexuality to be reduced into three: 1. agreement 2. non-agreement a. tolerated b. non-tolerated 3. no opinion When people are talking about homosexuality, they're mostly concentrating on the physical part of it, neglecting the psychological part. We all agree, I hope, that there are at least two genders. The gender does have effect on the procreational/reproductional part. But we forget the third gender which is amphisexual. We find in nature amphisexual creatures who can multiply without a second. (Amphisexuality is a word I use to denote creatures that can reproduce themselves without aid of another being) Even in grammar we find a pum-linga=pullinga, a strii-linga and a Na-pumsaka-linga. So grammar has three genders. Creation is about pro-creation or re-production or re-creation, whereas spirit-uality is about retro-creation or un-creation. In creation we have shiva and shakti aspects in all the creatures. There are creatures who are predominantly shiva (male) and others predominantly shakti (female), but what about the ones who have equally shiva and shakti. Are they the amphisexual ones? (here i use shiva for the "male-prototype" and shakti for the "female-prototype", though the words male and female are ambiguous: Every male has both shiva as well as shakti aspects) Is Napumsaka-linga the word that gives us an indication of amphisexuality, but being itself non-sexual? (here I use sexual in the sense of gender) Then Napumsaka linga may be the original causal potential word for balance of gender as non-sexual, but its creational potential aspect may be the amphisexual gender and in its effect aspect we have only as hermaphroditism. Of course the amphisexual human being is as far as i know non-existent as reproductional being. As non-reproductive being we have the hermaphrodites (physially male-female). I wouldn't know how a amphisexual would be like if existent as reproductive being. About homosexuality, etc. Homosexuality is the way of human beings who have as their physical and spiritual mirror a partner of the same gender. A bi-sexual being is equally attracted to both genders. In a predominantly monogamous society this may give problems in relations when not being honest to the ones involved. This is the key word in every relation: honesty. The physical extremities with which homosexuals are associated (by own PR and some heterosexual PR) is not helping much with getting wide acceptance. Love is something which involves all creatures. This is Spirit-ual Love. This Spiritual Love may be conditioned when only (a) selected one(s) is involved or unconditioned when all creatures are involved. This Spiritual Love may be a Physical Love when the physical is included. The Physical Love has an Affectional part (=Care, non-sexual), which includes (all or some) creatures and a Sexual part, which is limited to human beings. We have a unconditioned Sexual Physical Love when there's no limit to the number of people involved or a conditoned one when the number of people involved are limited. Partnership has a few reasons I think: 1. showing physical affection to the partner 2. reproduction for having children: Retas 3. spirituality by means of physical unity: Retas and Urdhva-Retas 4. spirituality by means of non-physical unity: Urdhva-Retas and Ojas. Homosexual Spiritual Partnership Is not much different from the heterosexual spirituality. The only difference is that the partner is of the same gender (physical). The shiva aspect of one person needs the shakti aspect of the other as inspiritation or boost to enlighten his/hers own inner shakti part. And vice versa. So also in homosexuality is there a mirror-function of partnership. What about Non-sexuality Yoga is about the unification (yukti) of the shiva aspect of a shakti being or vice versa without a mirror or partnership. This is a very difficult path, especially because we are not only Purusha, but also Prakrti. And the solidification of Prakrti is a very powerful energy which is a reproductional life force. The Purusha aspect of a Yogi tries to neutralize the reproductional energy to become an uncreational energy. Then it can be unified with the Purusha aspect to become un-manifested. Haha, maybe somewhere in the universe there are amphisexual human beings with intelligence. For them we are a strange phenomenon, as they are for us.
